WKMH, Keener's predecessor sounded like a lot of other full service radio stations of the day. Their 1963 line-up featured a number of familiar Detroit names, some of whom would continue into the Keener era.
Robin Seymour starred in morning drive, future WKNR newsman Dick Buller
worked 10-Noon, Ray Otis Noon-2PM, Lee Alan did afternoon drive, Detroit radio
fixture Dave Prince
worked 8-Midnight
and Jim Rockwell commanded overnights. There was local news at the top of the
hour, Mutual on the half hour and WKMH part owner Van Patrick did a 5:45PM
sports round-up.
