The Burger Club
One of the curious phenomena of the Keener era was the popularity of Scott Regen's Burger Club. The idea came to Scott after a phone call from a listener who called him "burger", a fad term for anything that was cool. Being one who instantly grasped a trend, Scott latched on and the Burger Club was born.
Over 20,000 burger club cards were distributed to loyal Keener listeners, and rock luminaries like the Beatles, Supremes and Four Tops extoled the virtues of membership.
