I LIVE IN AKRON, OHIO AND WAY BACK IN THE MID TO LATE 70'S I USED TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP WHNE WHEN A LOCAL STATION HERE [WDBN, NOW KNOWN AS WQMX] USED TO TURN OFF THEIR TRANSMITTER FROM MIDNIGHT TO SIX AM FOR MAINTENANCE. IT WAS AWESOME BEING ABLE TO LISTEN TO THE OLDIES I LOVED AS AT THE TIME NO OTHER STATIONS ANYWHERE WAS PLAYING OLDIES [AND I WAS NOT A TYPICAL TEENAGER, I NEVER GOT INTO LED ZEPPLIN OR OTHER HARD ROCK GROUPS AS MOST OF MY OTHER CLASSMATES DID]
