WKNR Air Checks
The Keener sound was fresh, tight, energetic and unlike anything else on the air in Detroit during the mid-60s. While there were other great stations and great announcers in the market, no other broadcaster had Keener's "total station sound". Here are some samples of how WKNR sounded during its short reign.
